Douglas Clark, SPPA, AIC, AINS, CPAU

Douglas brings nearly a decade of working for a Fortune 500 mutual insurance company as a national catastrophe adjuster. During his adjusting career, he has handled over 5,000 losses with a variety of damage types: hail, wind, fire, flood and sewer backup. Additionally, Douglas has worked with large multi-family complexes and business policyholders with losses in excess of $10 million. 

After working on the corporate side of the insurance equation for nearly a decade, Douglas saw a need for many policyholders to have an individual (public adjuster) come along side them in the time of loss to ensure they were receiving an equitable settlement. As a result, he set out on a career change as a public adjuster in Colorado. Now Douglas works closely with policyholders and insurance carriers in order to ensure claims are settled equitably.

During his nearly ten years working as a national catastrophe adjuster, Douglas worked with public adjusters from around the country and discovered that not all are created equal. He started DENCO Claims Consulting to ensure fairness, honesty, integrity and professionalism.
